Thanks Ed, I never even got around to sending a mail of my own yet. :o

EDIT: My 2Gb was refunded straight away, so thanks alot Ed :)

I must say I'm quite impressed with that service, I would hate to try and get something similar done with Telkom or many other providers I'm sure.

Maybe but pressure fed breathing had to be used in the past to get results, even though I must admit that Ed seems to be putting alot of effort into trying to help customers.

Bump. Its that time of the month again.

For me, though, my iBurst switches off permanently tonight.

It's been over 2 years since I joined. A lot has happened over those two years, but sadly not on iBurst.

Still the same old stale packages, and still the same exhorbitant bandwidth charges.

I hope there are good things coming soon for loyal iBursters. I just couldn't wait any longer...

Good night, and good luck.

damnit I disconnected last nite and the stupid Hyde Park BS wouldn't authenticate my username and password

I forgot to disconnect at 12am and I did about 700mb of downloading last night (we got booted at 12:20 though, and then got the same issue as Fishfly). A few minutes ago, I checked the bandwidth monitor we hve our full allocation for Feb, 3gb plus 1gb carry over. Am I just lucky or have they changed something?

I woke this morning disconnected. I woke up and remembered that I hadn't logged out. However I still had my full allocation.

Maybe they have addressed the problem by booting everyone off at the end of the month, to ensure that everyone's bandwdith is reset. No an eloquent solution to the problem, but certainly better than being robbed.

Or, it might also be simply that month-end coincided with the weekly maintenance window...
