TL;DR I needed to pay an outstanding fine (did it just now) or a warrant for my arrest will be issued in about two weeks from now.

Okay so November last year I made a bit of a boo-boo and passed a slow truck over a painted island just outside of Beaufort West.

Hidden Highway patrol car raced up to pull me over afterwards and issued me a fine. Told me if I write them a letter they could take away the fine.

I did this a few days later in Stellenbosch and returned home to JHB a few weeks later.

After waiting a month or so I tried to find the fine online and couldnt see anything, and soon I forgot about it.

Until yesterday when a place called SM Consultants contacted me and said I must pay (a now reduced) fine or a warrant for my arrest will be sent out soon. I then paid immediately. Apparently they couldnt contact me before. They also emailed me the fine and whatnot and I could see my name and address were taken down incorrectly.

Am I in the clear now? Is this even something to be concerned about?

Well if you name is incorrect on the summons then the whole thing is invalid anyway.

Who are SM Consultants, and they can't issue the Warrant of Arrest if the details are incorrect. I would have told them to go fsck themselves unpleasantly.

SM Consultants sound like a debt collection firm who have been sold this "debt"

lol, SM Consultants? No man. A sheriff of the court has to hand-deliver you a notice that a warrant of arrest will be issued if you don't pay your fine immediately. Only after this hand-delivered letter is received, and the notice expires, will a warrant be issued. You got pwned
