A question regarding a warranty - if I purchase an item from someone that is about 6 months old does the warranty automatically transfer with the item, or is it up to the company that sold it?

Yes most components the warranty is with the distro.

Through components bought from sonic informed distro, the original owner has to do the return.
(They sell coolermaster and few other brands)

Do they take your ID when buying or something..? If I show up with the original invoice, as the second owner, they will refuse..?

Yes they will refuse, they refused me. I had an account with them also.

They scanned the item and saw it was bought on computer mania account, they saw I am not from computer mania.

And if you dont have the original invoice, just the date of purchase, is that a no no?

Yep with goods from sonic informed yes, but they don't sell much goods. So a small chance the goods are from them.

Rest of the suppliers are willing to help.
