Warrior Tank

A good nameplate addon does help a lot when it comes to multi-mob tanking, I use TidyPlates - Neon theme but I've used the Threatplate theme and it works just as well.

+1
I used this since Lich king. If there is one add-on a tank should have, this is it. Gives you great confidence when the name plates are all green. Sheer f*****g terror when they are all red :)

Stunning your primary target which would normally be the hardest hitting non cc'ed is never a bad idea, but thanks for your input, and yes,Devastate is a filler that is spammed whenever Revenge/Slam is on cd with your other debuffs live ie. a gapfiller

Get off your horse lad

Everything that causes damage that doesnt have a cd is filler :)
The only damage dealing spell you wouldnt spam is heroic strike because of it's rage cost. Use it to dump rage. There is no great rocket science to warrior tanking single target. I even shockwave and thunderclap them out of boredom.

I once did an heroic throw at a nearby trash mob while on boss.

And if the group is clearly over geared for the instance, then they are in for more surprises from me:)

Threatplates when tanking should be all red? Green means you don't have aggro, or do I have that mixed up?

But yes, shameless bump on TidyPlates-Threatplates, I use it on all my characters :D

I don't know that one, but mine changes when I go into a tanking spec, green means I have aggro, yellow about to lose aggro, red I have lost aggro. When I am dps it changes around, green means I am safe, yellow I am about to pull aggro and red I am tanking a mob in dps spec and could very well be next to die.

In the options you can set it to tank mode, so that they are green when aggro is on you. But if you fancy red that's fine too :)

Ah ok, after checking my screenshots from wow (I have a duplicate of the game on my laptop for traffic jams ) I noticed my tanking settings were Red = I have aggro, Yellow = about to lose, Green = lost
