Wash Your Hands Pleeze

I agree with washing your hands....it makes sense. But to be honest....I have often been in hurry taking a whizz and then running out of the loo without washing. Not proud of it, but it does happen. But like copa and keeper said. This planet we live in is full of germs....the cheese we eat is produced by bacteria for heavens sakes. As kids we used to put coins in our mouth and all kinds of other crap and we survived.

In fact, I heard somewhere, or read somewhere that we are becoming so paranoid about germs and cleaning our floors and houses with industrial strength anti germ stuff that we are going to start loosing our natural immunity to these bugs and become more sickly as we go along. It kinda makes sense to it if you think about it. If your immune system is not exposed to something common place, then it wont develop a natural defence....hence when you do god forbid run into a bug that your immune system does not recognize....you are SCREWED BOET! :-)

Chill and relax. Rather worry about guys like me that might oggle you while you in the loo instead of the germs waiting in angst to hitch a ride on your hand to your mouth :-) (kidding)

Think about this..you open the tap..wash r hands and touch the tap again ;) I use toilet paper when opening touching things.

:D At least I can wash the tap before I close it again but yes, this one gets to me as well, especially when you can see the dirt on the tap

I'd be more worried about mall escalators or elevator buttons than toilet door handles. Seriously though, our bodies are more resilient to common, everyday bacteria than you'd think.

I'm not worried about getting sick.. Just the though of what sits there is enough to scare me...

Have you ever wondered what's on the buttons at parking booms when you must push for a ticket...

You generally find me using my elbow or back of my hand for elevator buttons...

you're telling me you can't wipe your bum without getting poop all over yourself?

ugh dude, we don't need to hear about this.

Dude, you are the one lacking understanding here. Bacteria/germs do not localise themselves to one spot, they can travel and if the area is even slightly moist/sweaty etc even more so. So you having contact with your cheeks, underwear etc is about the same as getting schit on your hands. Are you really that ignorant?

looks like you need a bit of potty training if you even have to ask that question.

Same goes for you.

LMAO

Damn i know i make Fin sure i don't get poop on my hands, it is not really something i think about. I am sure i have had poop free bum wipe hands for since i was a young kid. Although the only time i will crap in a public toilet is when i am about to explode.

I must say though ponder dude you need to learn the art or wiping thy bum proper :D. Maybe you need wet wipes?

It is funny how people freak out about a door handle yet they sit and type on a forum using a device that is known as the dirtiest most germ ridden thing in a person's life :D.

Ponder dude you need to use more toilet paper bru, my hands touch nothing because there is a huge chunk of toilet paper covering them.

You need potty training brother or maybe a toilet paper sponsor :D.

Rather oggle me... Unlike the mess on the door, at least you not gonna leave there with me (I hope).... :D

i've seen a study done on this and your face has more germs on it than your bum, iirc - same goes for the toilet seat too, they are generally clean because they DO get cleaned with powerfull chemicals that germs don't survive in.

you're paranoid man.

you are worried about bacteria getting onto your hands and somehow into your body, yet the crap you are scared of came from there already.

I'm not saying don't wash your hands - I do - but don't be scared of lift buttons/peanuts/door handles and don't be scared if you *didn't* wash your hands that day.

If you are scared of touching your own bum cheeks because you might get germs on your hands, I would be more worried about the bum if I were you.

Its true that people are a too paranoid about germs but the fact is that we share our toilets, buttons and door handles with a lot of people and we need to keep them as clean as possible.
So many people living so close together is a real problem and people need to be hygienic.

You aren't paranoid. It's disgusting and not healthy at all.

It's my absolute worst to see mature so-called educated men walk out of the cubicle after doing their business and head straight for the door

It blows my mind :wtf: how  and blasé people can be about their and my hygiene!

/rant over

Imagine how people without clean running water must feel.

How can you be scared of pressing an elevator button, but be able to eat burgers, pizza and other stuff that people also touched? especially since you will be putting this right into your mouth.

@ the guy who presses the buttons with his elbow - not only do you still get germs this way, but you look like an idiot at the same time!
(unless your elbow has some special immunity we don't know about)

Its safer to use my elbow because I know I can't dig my nose with my elbow later on and spread those horrid germs.. mmmm!! Wonder if its ok to dig my nose? :o :D

I want to know... why wash your hands after handling your pee-pee? Shouldn't you wash your pee-pee after handling it? It does after all sit all clean and nicely folded in your clean undies all day??
Just a thought...
