Watch out, they DO cap!

I've disconnected and reconnected, and I'm still capped at 15k/sec.

:(

I don't hate iBurst, I was just making a specific reference the really small cap they offer, which I think you'll agree is pathetic.

How did you manage to download 54GB last month? I thought 18GB (9GB plus purchasing another 9GB) was the maximum you could get? Surely being capped at 64kbit/sec in not fast enough to download the other 36GB?

Then again, maybe you know something that you don't want to share here, in case WBS are reading this thread... :D

well a bit of all three actually, the badnwidth manager slips in early mornings and at 1mbit even an hour of slippage means 400MB, to put in perspective its conistanlty slipped between 2AM and 6AM, then i purchase bandwidth from time to time, about 6GB a month just for when i need fast access in the day and the third option, well, lets not get into that :)

not trying to hijack the thread, just saying its not all as bad as some people say it is

My connection is back to normal. I threatened to cancel and inform everyone I know of Sentech's misleading advertising.

Coincidental?

Hang on a second. Did I miss something here. Up to now I understood that the soft cap on the MW512 is 40G.

The email from Sentech support states it is 30G.

When did this change?

They can kill you but they cannot eat you.

Must be a typo, I've always understood the soft cap on the 512k package to be 40GB. It states this somewhere on the website too...
