Watching ShowMax in Germany?

My sister is in Germany and my mom recent got ShowMax. Will it be possible for my sister in Germany to watch using my mom's account? I recall that last year I could watch ShowMax while in Mauritius so I am not sure if they have international restrictions.

Will depend on license agreements for the particular series or movie that's being watched and how diligently showmax enforce that..

If showmax are doing it right, it should be similar to SA Netflix and US Netflix when you try and watch US Netflix from SA..

Not without a VPN.

My wife in the UK cannot watch showmax or dstv now without a VPN so I would think it would be the same for Germany.

You'll have to VPN into SA. I asked SmartDNSProxy about this last month and they said they support DSTV Now but not Showmax for EU/US

My ASUS router has a VPN feature using OpenVPN. So I set it up and sent her the details on how to use it. Will see how that goes.
