Water cooled supercomputer announced

Ho hum. I can't see what's new in this, other than "low tech" water cooling in a supercomputer ... these systems normally use vapor phase cooling (much more powerful).

I've had liquid cooled PCs since 2002, and my phase-change cooling systems (VapoChill Lightspeed and Prometeia Mach II, both retired as they're S478) chilled the CPU to around minus 40 degrees C. Quite a few MyBBers have serious liquid cooled systems, I'm sure...?

The TCMs on IBM workhorse mainframes have been liquid cooled since the 3084 back in the 1980s.
