Anyone have one and has a personal recomendation?
Anything to be aware of specifically if looking to purchase one?
Thinking about getting one not so much for the filtration or water quality aspect - we currently just drink cold tap water so I've never really given water quality that much thought, could be a bonus though - more the convenience. Plus the Checkers close by sells water for R1 a litre so thought I might get into that, can fill a few bottles.
Only thing I know about them currently is they swapped out those older school upside down water bottle on top and visible types to the ones where the water bottle is enclosed at our office. I don't find either particularly aesthetically pleasing but it would be in our scullery so out of sight for the most part. Wouldn't hurt if it looks pretty though. I'd imagine there's the potential for stuff to get dirty and clogged so cleaning would be necessary as well.
And if anyone asks, wife and I both prefer fridges with those solid doors so our fridge does not have any water dispensers, currently on those old plastic water bottles, which is what I'm looking to get rid of basically.
