Hi

I am looking for a decent (budget-friendly) waterproof and rugged camera that you can easily take to the beach, etc without worrying about it getting damaged. I have been looking at action cameras which should serve the purpose but are are expensive.

That thing is not going to get through customs in time for your holiday. Do the right thing. Buy an iPhone SE. @epah back me up here.

have a look for a second hand Sanyo or Ricoh ,but battery replacement may be difficult .
