Why don't you find the corresponding US model number for you camera and then go look at what makes are available for that model at B&H. Then you can do a local search for them in SA.

I've seen them on Amazon/overseas.

But this is urgent. :(

While I was overseas I saw some "zip lock" style bags that were meant for submersing your camera under water. I'm not sure if you get such things down here at local shops. Maybe be a brave chap and try out a zip lock bag :D

Yes. So take note of the make & models you saw overseas and do a local google search for them to see who stocks them locally.

I saw a Glomail type advert for a universal underwater cover on TV a little while back, I'll try find more info on it.
