Waterproof Shoes

I'm not sure of rating - but these things feel pretty warm to me. R3,300 for a few days :/

Yea it seems mild now - but next week seems -8 is the max, with dropping to -15. Yesterday it was showing snow on those days too - but I see they've changed that.

Those look nice. Would look even better with black laces....

I wear North Face Goretex Waterproof boots, but they are tough to find here and quite pricey.

Yea wanted to keep my 4 day trip as cheap as possible. I realize I need to buy a small hand backage suitcase too. So I'm going to be at R4.3k already...

Yeah I am pretty sure you'll encounter some snow. We had snow multiple times this week. Only today and yesterday was a bit less snowy and as we gear up for February the temperatures will go down.

I'll be in the minority here but don't get Merrell. I love their shoes because they're comfortable but they're useless on any kind of slippery or wet surface. I've had several pairs I've tried wearing in monsoons, in snow, and icy, slushy conditions but they had zero grip on any smooth and/or wet surface.

It'll depend on the kind of snowy conditions you'll have, and no shoe is perfect, but my Salomons and Columbias were miles better than any of my Merrells.
 
Get a pair of Nike manoa’s. Used them in the alps, awesome.

Plus drake wore them in hot line bling. So chicks would dig you too.

If you want to get pusi there you need to wear sandles. Trust me, the woman there love a man wearing waterproof socks and rugged sandals.

I have the same jacket and I love it. It's incredibly durable and even I'd recommend stuffing it into the little bag and taking it on the plane with you as hand luggage to wear overnight when the AC kicks in and everyone is huddled under their little thin blankets. Great price just now as well, I paid 1599 for mine.
 
So after a few hours, my note...

You need a beanie ; I went for a walk without it and turned back 10 minutes later when my ears almost fell off.

Cars stop for you at zebra crossing... The people walk and the cars stop.

8K Samsung Qled is for sale... Like product ready and in normal stores.

And the girls. Omg. Like. Omg

Yea I only got hold of a thin kids yellow doggie face beanie with ears when it was -4. It helped a bit... and looked ridiculous, but hot women were smiling at me. :)
 
You don't need a beanie, just a windproof jacket with a hood. Otherwise you need a beanie AND a scarf!

I went out last night without a beanie... I was back 10 minutes later. I think a beanie is vital!

That K Way jacket I bought is holding up with this weather, so far. It's going to get colder the next few days though, so will see
