WAZZUP speed test arrived:)

As an example, moving your telkom line management to an ISP like mweb or webafrica is dumb because if you have a problem it takes them days to get in contact with telkom due to paperwork and unnecessary procedures they have to follow.

Nonsense... Firstly ISP has access to reset ports, which fixes most ADSL problem.. i had my port reset in 2 mins the last time i needed, instead of hanging on listening to telkom's hold music. Secondly, ISP's have direct access to Telkom's ticketing system, therefore they can log tickets, follow progress, see which tech is working on it etc, etc.. there's no "paperwork and unnecessary procedures" involved...

Hi Guys,

and furthermore all this discussion would make sense if we were in a contract and somehow bound to the ISP we choose. But what is the worst that can happen? You start getting a bad service you give it another try and if there is no solution you move on. I mean seriously it's not like we got something to loose here. I can do without internet if I have to and wait for my line to be transfered back.

Let's all relax and enjoy the internet instead of judging each others decisions.
