He unequivocally refuted it less than a month ago - has something changed since then?
In this article ... the thing that stands out to me is the following:
"I have spoken to the mayor and premier Rasool, ministers and deputy ministers, saying, you know it is my view that I need to be president of SA for 10 years after 2009 (when his term ends)," he told about 300 community leaders.
What I see here is that he still believes he should be the president for another term ... but over here:
"But I failed. All of them, without exception, said the constitution said you can't," Mbeki said.
its everyone else who dismissed that idea ... so just because he said its not going to happen ... doesn't mean he changed his mind. If they suddenly said yes ... he would sign any documents quicker than a pig would jump in ****!!!
But then again ... I am not an economics student and may have understood this in the wrong way.
