Awesome.

Many normal people have to clock in and out, what makes these people any different?

According to BusinessDay, DA chief whip “Watty” Watson said the DA caucus rejected the idea. “We are senior citizens who have been elected to Parliament by the people of SA and for us to be treated like sheep or cattle being counted is unacceptable.”
What's the retirement age for MPs?

Erm ... Mr Watson, I work at a DA-led office of Gov, and I'm required to fingerprint check in and out everyday, why don't you have to?

Not cool ...

Our MPs believe themselves high and mighty if a clock in system offends them so much.

the new system would see electronically garnered information falling within the duty of Parliament’s presiding officers, thereby replacing the current system which sees the chief whip of each party monitoring the attendance of their MPs.

If irony had to smack this fool in the face, he probably wouldn't recognise it...

They sometimes forget that they were voted into positions and must work to retain it.

They behave like senile senior citizens.

Not happy resign and go find a real job

Definitely not cattle. Cattle have value.

Cattle also dont consume as much

Does he know how our system works?

Seems that they think this petty attendance system thing is for the great unwashed, not for the high and mighty.
