“We want answers from Eskom. We understand load shedding, but we feel like Soweto is taking the brunt of it,” Mvelane said.

WTF.... They don't bare the brunt of anything. Eskom is being very lenient towards them. Even if they are not paying they still get power. They most likely see minimal loadshedding. I studied some of the places around here where I stay that are being supplied directly by Eskom and loadshedding is minimal on stage 1 and 2......

People served by municipalities are the hardest hit by loadshedding and prices increases as well as non payment...

“First and foremost, on behalf of Eskom, I would like to personally apologise for the inconvenience that most customers have had to endure due to load shedding and other technical failures,” said Molefe.

He didn't apologise to Soweto, it was to the whole South Africa. They have apologised a few times already. They also never said they cut off Soweto.

“Last Friday’s prolonged power outage in Soweto was caused by a combination of two unrelated factors, namely load shedding and some of our power distribution networks battling to cope with the huge electricity demand.

ESKOM: We are sorry for cutting your electricity because you are not paying for it?

To translate his statement.

We as Eskom are terribly sorry we went and cut off the power to you, the ANC voter. The ANC gave us a really good hiding and we have learnt our lesson and will not turn off your power anymore, even if you dont feel like paying.

To those of you in other regions where you do pay, particularly DA and EFF voters, please can you pay us more so that we can provide a worse service to you. You are rich so you can afford it.

This makes my blood boil. For once, I thought Eskom had some ba11s in cutting off people who don't pay. Then the All Nut Cases makes some noise because they fear the backlash in next years elections, and the Eksdom stooges immediately fall in line and then on their knees asking for forgiveness.

Molefe is just another All Nut Cases puppet.
