That's a great sign. Considering that there are hundreds of great little coffee shops in Amsterdam to buy good quality weed and hashish you'd be a fool to buy anything from a dealer in the streets.
Note: I had arrived in Amsterdam 2 hours previously. It was getting dark and I needed warmth and shelter quickly. I found more acceptable lodgings the following day.
Yes, it unfortunately so, but it does not excuse the doorman and his manager's behaviour.
If I turn it around and say "South Africans are known to be corrupt therefore I do not want to do business with you", how would you as a South African feel?
The next day I went to the flea market (very good) to get a warmer pair of gloves. Coming back and approaching the hotel I saw Euro-X exiting on to the street. He appeared briefly in the doorway and his face blurred. I thought it was my eyes tearing from the cold. I continued towards the hotel and glanced at Euro-X as we passed. The cold had tightened his skin as he had stepped outside and all his blackheads had come out about a millimetre. He had a blackhead ‘fur’ all over his face. This was why his face had seemed to blur at a distance. The outlines were softened by the ‘fur’ when his face reacted to the cold. Ugh.
And they were right - he does sell drugs.
"Right of admission reserved"
The owner can use his "own" discression as to who he wants in his club or not. They don't want drug wielding Nigerians and thus based on that exclude all Nigerians by default. I fail to see the problem. As always the press turns a little thing into a massive issue taken completely out of context. Excluding 100 Nigerians would not have been a problem 99 times but now because this Nigerian is a doctor all of a sudden it's a problem.
Fk it, the owner doesn't want Nigerians in his club and he has the full right to decide who goes in and who does.
Nothing more, nothing less.
the majority of crime in South Africa is committed by a certain race.
Therefore the owner has the right to refuse entry to all people of this race.
....
Crime represents the population in South Africa,
So what's wrong with selling drugs anyway? Someone's got to do it.
