SA men jailed in Britain

London - Two South Africans who overstayed their British visas were jailed for life on Friday for the murders of two men strangled during a series of violent muggings.

Gabriel Bhengu, 27, and Jabu Mbowane, 26, will be deported after serving life sentences.

Judge John Goldring said at a sentencing hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court in central England that evidence had clearly shown that Bhengu and Mbowane had carefully selected vulnerable targets.

Actually there was a clear racial tone I took here. The perpetrators were black and from SA so yes there was a CLEAR racial tone when 2 black men from SA committed a crime in another country. What is your point? Get over you PC self.

exactly, they didn't magically appear there, they had VISAS (which costs around 3.5k a pop) and had to (probably) buy plane tickets for +- 8k.

I reckon they were students, went there, "overstayed" their welcome and because their visas expired nobody wanted to hire them anymore. Instead of going to rural places to work on farms (where you get paid better anyway) they probably decided seeing as police dont have guns and people in the UK haven't experienced this on a daily basis, they might as well start mugging people...
