Just because this microSCOPE is not on one of your rifles, doesn't mean it's not useful..

For instance, this microscope in conjunction with a tweezer would be extremely useful for your twice daily skommel..

Used one in the past to look for solder cracks on PC boards. Worked well.

Taking the lens from an old laser pointer and attaching it to a phone camera with Prestik also worked well as a small microscope.

The there is this thing https://www.capeunionmart.co.za/products/carson-20x-microscope-with-smartphone-clip/160702-0200.html. Haven't tried it yet, but it looks like a good alternative to the USB microscope.
That should potentially be much better because it can utilise your phone camera which would be significantly better than whatever low resolution/low quality sensor the microscopes with a built-in camera have.

A lot of glare in many of the images. Wrong exposure? Bad lighting?

Great. Then it should be useful in finding your IQ lying on the ground.

That coming from the person who cannot find a single useful thing to do with the microscope...
Shaun had a great suggestion. To check your swimmers. Mine shouldn't even be seen after the snip - So yes, one useful idea.

Unfortunately, the "The device supports a magnification of up to 1000 times " is a bit of lie, you won't be able to see cells with this thing, but here are some pics from mine:
