We will not change our decision: SABC

Hlaudi days ahead.

The truth of the matter is that they have an unbreakable umbilical cord to Luthuli house so nothing drastic will happen like licenses being revoked forthwith.

Anyway, they have 7 days to plan their obfuscation and drag this out till after the elections through litigation.
Same strategy No.1 employed for years till the CC where his counsel said 'eish hau sorry'.

Pretty much the bold bit. I don't know what kind of position Cloudy can find after that lets him give himself a couple of raises a year but I'm sure he'll try.

What a bunch of fooking ****ers

Please advise to why I should continue paying a TV license than? Your shows are up to **** (unfortunately only catering to the cANCer partners), your propaganda is like the old ex apartheid regime method

You should do what you think is right, whatever that is, and the same for your support for advertisers on said medium.

Guess paying my TV license isn't the right thing to do!

delay tactics. Concourt could draw out over years.

They just need to censor protests for the next month to win voters. Then they'll happily oblige.
That is exactly it.

And I just heard them saying Chapter 9 ( Public Protector ) only gives recommendations, they don't have to comply.

Where did I hear that before ?
A case of practice makes perfect. Lots of smoke and mirrors.

And it didn't work out that well for the last person that tried it from a legal standpoint if memory serves me correctly
But nothing will happen in reality to those responsible. Perhaps a golden handshake at worst as gratitude. This is a puppet show for the people.

Unless somebody responsible actually ends up in jail, it will just continue. But as things currently stand our money is abused at the SABC money to fight against us and to the disadvantage of the people of South Africa.

Good. So I'm not the only one who refuses to pay.

I stream etc, etc..

Down the sh*thole. When we are all peasants again. Maybe the rest of Africa will go back to their home country's. There will be nothing left to steal.

once again pissing in the face of the courts. we are really in dangerous territory here. why are we bound by a court decision but the government can tell them to fsuck off.

oh and i listened to this turd yesterday. 'our children must see the destruction of public property' no buddy they must learn of the dissatisfaction with the anc at a young age so the next generation can vote along issues and not blind anc no matter if im sitting in the same place or worse off since 'liberation'

The SABC will tie this up in the courts until well after the elections. In the meantime they will continue with their censorship, I expect it to get worse. The ANC are desperate and they need the SABC to white-wash over the messes they have caused.

Keep the masses un-informed and you keep their votes.

Hope that ICASA will stand firm on this issue. How very dictating of SABC. Nobody's watching SABC channels willingly anyway. We all are kinda forced to pay the annual tv license fee and that should be enough to get them off my back.
