OK - what does that mean?
I'm currently on FNB Connect which is completely unshaped. I get 600KB/sec from a news server in the EU. Any indications what my experience would be like on WA?
Thanks

Sure, I understand shaping... I was asking what the UX would be like. Since "medium" tells me bugger all, to be honest![]()
Full speed if you use EU server.

Your statement is incorrect: FNB, like Afrihost, IS and many other ISP's that advertise their service as un-shaped, however when tested http://www.measurementlab.net/ - clearly shows heavy shaping.
I have tried to obtain a response from FNB & Afrihost, however both prefer not to respond.
SO far so good, pretty much getting line speed.
When is the busiest time of day? Would like to check it out then
I have not seen any evidence of shaping on my FNB Connect account. No matter what I do on it, I get line speed. My understanding is that if it was shaped, torrents and news would be slower than http?
