The international browsing issue has been restored. Will post up some feedback on what caused the issues a little later.
Thanks for your patience guys, appreciated.

Thanks, getting full speeds from an international site again :D

Mine was also not working this morning around 9:30 am.

My speedtest only gave 1.2 mbps out of the normal 3.3 (on a 4mbps line).
But my kids could not log into their steam accounts.

So I switched over to my Afrihost account, and all was well.

Will check the WA account again when I get home.

Apologies for the brief international issue. Since the resolution of the issue we've seen our normal stability across our network.

Any update on the news server Jeff?

It took me over 3 hours to download just under 2 gigs. When the news server and WA was working 100% that would have taken less than an hour

Ok whats supposed to be going in uncapped feedback and whats supposed to be going in here ?

Uncapped is for those on uncapped, and this is for general. This thread was started before the uncapped thread when WA only offered capped (bar business uncapped). That is my take now that there is an uncapped thread

Some changes where supposed to be made to the news server over this weekend, however I see there are still the odd reports about it. Will see what's happening there, update wise.

Let's call this thread a "general feedback" type of thread ;)

Getting less than 1 KB/s from our FTP server in the US! So tired of this.

Jeff,

This is the speedtest from mybb:

Test conducted on 06 December 2011 12:21:21 PM
Download Speed: 5183 kbps (647.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 519 kbps (64.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 57 ms

But I get time outs when trying to log into our ftp account, get 1 KB/s speeds up and down. Our host says there's no issue their side.

Hey folks,

OK, some feedback on the News Server problems. Can you let me know how old the .nzb files are? Our news server retention is set to 140 days - so anything older, will generally be slower and seen as "uncached"
Can we run some tests and see?

If there are slow speeds, please FW the .nzb file onto [email protected] so we can test the files on our end.

@biometrics & CrazyBob: Can you please send some test details to the FTP accounts onto Support so we can test these from our end?
