given these known problems you are having, why not give your customers the option to cancel before month end? and everyone walks away after month end?
don't even make it policy. do it for those who ask. it's a tiny amount in your world.
you are only setting yourselves up to create customers that will never return. a strange business decision given that most cistomers always assume they might return to a vendor they have just left.
Trial Account WA (2 mins later)Unless these downloads are being done during 00:00-06:00 then this is normal.
Even on weekends?
Unless these downloads are being done during 00:00-06:00 then this is normal.
Well, if that is so, I'm due to cancel again. Will see then who else to join. I like to use my downloading during weekends before 00:00, and at night from 18:00. I don't like to have my PC on running dueing the nights, that stupid for me.

Gotta pay $$$$ for the privilege
Morning, can you then suggest me a ISP please. I have a 10meg line, and have a PS3 that is constant on online (Destiny), and I like to download during the day (18:00-00:00) and then weekends (if power is on).
I'm looking at +- 350 to 400 gig pm

WA vs Torrents!
I have a 10meg line, and joined last week WA. I'm on the uncapped 10meg line for R499.
I noticed the week when I do torrenting, the speeds are not great at all. I then switched back to my old ISP, because they are till 31th active June. I then noticed immediately a speed increase. Switching back to WA, the speed dropped again to 20/30kb/ps on two torrents. I then remembered that I have my test account still from WA before I joined. I changed over to test account, and the speeds went over 200kb/ps.
So, I need to know the following
1) Same router
2)Same line
3)Same day
4)Different accounts, 2 mins apart from switching between accounts on router
Why does WA throttle me on my account, but the test is flying
Isn't that the false advert, in thinking that if my test account runs 1000km/h, I must join these people.
Now that I paid up, I get the speed I'm not promised?
Pics of differnet accounts herewith
I did pm "WA helper", but havent replied as yes, so I came here to ask for assistance

Are you talking about the Uncapped 10meg for R999?
Do you use it?
And will torrenting be faster?
Hi,
The only account that's no shaped and has the highest priority it is the Business Capped Pro: https://www.webafrica.co.za/business/adsl/business-adsl/pro/ All the other accounts are shaped according to the bandwidth priority, please click here for more info: http://support.webafrica.co.za/inde...rticle/View/669/0/bandwidth-priority-profiles
I am no longer a customer of webafrica but I feel like I should just say last night was probably the worst after hours experience I have had on any isp ever. There is no point that I will ever consider what I experienced from webafrica as an usuable service.
What I experienced the last two months was a rip off. Compared to the service i received the first couple of months with WA I did not get 1/10th the performance browsing, gaming or streaming.
