Brief Overview of position
You will be the first employee of this small and growing business. As a result, the basic salary is quite low, but will be heavily based on commission allowing earnings to grow substantially and quickly. We are looking for someone who can meet with clients for briefs/new business leads, put together proposals and manage the entire web design process themselves.
You will be ideally positioned to grow with the business. You will be required to work from home for the first 6-12 months while offices are being built. You will need to be available for a few meetings after hours every month, but hours worked can be negotiated.
We are looking for someone able to start ASAP as we have quite a few large projects lined up.

Qualifications:
- Matric (Non-negotiable)
- Must have a qualification in web/graphic design
Requirements:
- Work experience not absolutely required, but definitely a plus
- MUST have a valid license and own car as travelling to clients is required
- Must have own cellphone, computer capable of running design software and internet access
- Must have an up to date portfolio of previous design work
- Knowledge of PHP
- Be very comfortable working with Joomla & Wordpress
- Knowledge in Photoshop
- Knowledge in Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash advantageous
- Knowledge in SEO and Google AdWords is advantageous
- Strong understanding of web design technologies, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience in responsive interface design essential
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally with clients
- Ability to take initiative and come up with ideas, solutions, creative brainstorming
