Hi Guys

Is there anybody here that is using this service? I am looking at this product and canceling all my telkom 3 gig accounts.

How does it work for you and is/have you had any problems?

Thanks

Dsl Groups

Hey W@P,

Dsl groups is a really great package.
Firstly it allows you to split your bandwidth into multiple users with increments of 1gb. It allows the main user to track each account on there specific usages. Each user will be allowed to purchase there own prepaid bandwidth as they need it and they will be invoiced for it. Another big plus is that you can bind a DSL order with each user and this will be the whole process of ordering a new line, or transferring a existing line, and you will still receive the free 1gb for transferring over to webafrica. So in all it is a amazing product, it allows you the freedom to monitor and create users as you want.
If you require someone to contact you and give you some more info, pm me, your contact details and a webafrica sales consultant will contact you. :)

I'll keep my Telkom (3GB) account (with my 30GB local free) and then use a WA 1GB SAIX account when I'm capped (with Routesentry)

Doing this, it works GREAT ;)

I want to use it for the company, we have 13 branches and every one has a 3gb telkom account atm. So alot of unused bw wasted at end of each month.
This will work alot better.

Is it running on IS or Saix ?

Groups

It is running on saix, each user name you create is allowed 4 concurrent connections. I think this best solution would be to create a 10gb groups account and then add prepaid as you need it so that there is no unnecessary bandwidth wastage.

Ok so say i take the 20gb and i create a 1gb account for each of my branches and they use 13gb in a month, the 7gb left is then wasted if i don't use it ?

Correct, so effectively you could allocate 30gb or 40GB on 1gb accounts as many as you like. However only the USAGE counts towards your master cap.

wamatt - any plans to provide a similar product with slightly smaller monthly allocations? I've currently got a dozen prepaid accounts with you guys that I would prefer to manage centrally but I am not yet reaching the 10GB per month mark.

ok spoke to some the guys, definitely doable. ambo pop us a mail and mark attention "kevin f" for a pure prepaid DSL groups.
