Maybe someone can explain this to me please? Why does your ADSL line need to be, in WebAfrica's terms, "in great shape" for me to be able to reset the port from the customer zone. Doesn't that defy the whole point of being able to reset the port when the line is not working correctly or as expected.

I had this issue last night where the ADSL line syncs, yet no pppoe connection can be established (multiple ISPs) and the customer zone under the line manage section just displays that the line status is unknown and the port reset option does not show up.

Also the images of article, from WebAfrica regarding how to do a port reset, seems to be broken, or is it just me?

Is there a mobile friendly site from where I can manage my account? Certain parts of the site does not load correctly using opera mini or chrome.

At last the customer zone shows that the line is healthy, click port reset and returns with the feature is not available for this line?

That's usually Telkom's fault, not WA's. Some lines are not able to be controlled via the API that Telkom provides to the ISPs (in my experience, it's usually, but not always, lines connected to older Telkom equipment), and yours seems to be one of them. You'll have to do a port reset over the phone with whoever manages your line.

Hi nahoR,

Kelerei is correct as our system pulls the info off from the Telkom API and in some cases it does not allow some functionality to work. This can be due to something changing on your line or the exchange.

If the port reset functionality is no longer working we unfortunately cannot fix it as its a Telkom system.
