So I am paying R24 less for my 10meg line (R499 to R475), yet my line rental is going up by R125 (R300 to R425) .... not so fantastic once one does the math ...

And they call that slashing?

Exactly what I was about to say. R24 saving a month is not exactly "slashing" anything.

Move to Vox then :P with midnight uncapped capped accounts.

no thanks due to their throttling nonsense, had an account was throttled in the first week.

I don't trust uncapped accounts either, regardless which service provider its from.

Agree, it was good until they all added FUP to the small print...

Yep, whenever I see an ad for 'Uncapped', my hair starts raising and I just pass by.

Unfortunately, the industry players have so much influence, that regulators actually allow these type of consumer scams to fly by.

Most Internet users do not even know how to measure restrictions in FUPs, and simply join because they see 'uncapped'. A week later they are screwed and then locked into a contract with nowhere to go.

I wish they did not have these influences!
