WebAfrica High latency after 10pm

Any long term plans regarding the local latency for the Gauteng ppl? This whole routing via CPT thing kinda messes it up. PTA -> SAIX servers w/ 90ms is quite a disadvantage if there are players w/ 30ms ping on the server. I'm guessing that would involve connecting to JINX? I'd guess a solid chunk of WA customers are in Gauteng anyway.

Sure I can use the 1gig AH free a/c...but switching constantly is meh and a gig gets burned pretty fast.

You are correct, this would involve setting up peering links on a JINX level to sort this out. This has been on the go since end November, with our engineering team working on getting this all setup.
