I did follow all the channels; phoned your offices etc, promised responses and given excuses, and nothing happened.
Sorry about that guys!

Could you possibly pop me a PM guys and let me know who you spoke with when you logged the request pls so I can follow up on our side and see what happened exactly.

PM sent - thanks Rupert.

Still the question remains how can a great ISP drop to the bottom of the list/close to in less than 2 years? I started with Webafrica and everything was awesome, even hosted with them, now they have so many problems with my e-mails and performance I will not renew anything with them, only have a pre-paid that I rarely use.

While WA might need to put in some work in certain aspects of their business I do not think WA qualify to be called proper idiots. The last time I had performance problems wa responded to my tickets quite fast, were willing to help and suggested quite a few things that I should be on the lookout for. In the end we came to the conclusion that it must be telscum related as we exhausted all our diagnostic avenues. They got me to call telkom and do a port recreate/reset and everything went all hunky dory since then.

What I would love to see from Webafrica though is a more detailed/usable statement re: usage. Last time I had a chunk of data going missing over the course of a night I had to chase the culprit by hand over ~8 devices. Turns out a new steam install ate some data from the wrong server and thus did not allocate that usage to the freezone usage. At this stage I can see exactly how much data was used between 00:00 and 01:00 on a certain date, but there is no indication to me if this data was used at line nas port 1 or 2 or even 3 ... and that makes me a sad panda.

Thanks for the feedback and support.

We are looking on improving our usage reporting system and will definitely add your suggestions to our Developers. You can also have a look at this thread where we will provide feedback once we get an update:
