If its pppoe then reenter the password. Windoze seems forgetful with those. I've already had a few cases where I can't dial-up the connection, then when I retype the saved password it suddenly works.
What exactly did you tell them to fix the problem because a normal line recreate on their side did not fix my problem. Since the 10th of Jan I'm unable to authenticate with ANY IS account.
To be honest I told Telkom that no ISP's accounts would authenticate on my router and I was having problems, I then asked if they could send someone out to check what the problem was. The person then replied that they were going to do a "ADSL line reset" for me and to just hold on for a few seconds, I watched my router, and about a minute later the PPP light came on. So my problem was sorted
So, ya, I didn't really asked them for anything particular, just told them the situation and they sorted it out
Unfortunately I'm not sure what the problem with your authentication if a line reset didn't work
I am having the same issues. Keep getting "invalid username or password", this happens on both my WA account and my friends Openweb IS account. The funny thing is it is only happening when I am dial up through a RASPPPOE connection (for routesentry), the normal windows connection goes through without a hitch.
