Does anybody know when the server will be going live?

Last I heard they will still sinking it with the headend server its over 4TB so its going to take a while

I hope they get this UP and running soon

3 weeks ago the status was:

We reconfigured the hardware to cater for additional content as we are planning to host the "full mirror content server". The upgrade and installation of the server back into the DC to my understanding was completed last night and is now awaiting Steam content installation from Valves side. As soon as that is completed and I have the information regarding the streaming time frame I will be sure to post here and update everyone on the forums as well

Hi all,

Yes we will have the steam server up as soon as possible. With everyone being on leave it has delayed us slightly. Unofficially it will be up within the next week or two.

We should have a press release up on Mybb the day it goes live so keep an eye on the home page

This is one of the best moves made by any service provider...full steam content server! Once thats up, Web Africa gets another customer (and steam all my money lol)

This I will admit is one of the reason I've kept my WebAfrica account.. they are coming out with some innovative products.

Just wish their pricing would come down a bit to be more inline with say Afrihost....
