It seems my webmail account has been hacked. My password has been changed and cannot change it back as my alternative contact details have been changed. Also does not even recognise the answer to my security question. Tried to contact Webmail without luck. Any advice please?

Just be sure that your webmail address is not used as a recovery email. I was exposed this way. Their database is sure vulnerable. Best to abandon the service, why they haven't closed it down is beyond me.

Webmail seems to be run by some odd marketing company. I think they are compromised internally in any case.

First thing to do is contact the banks and cellphone companies and inform them your email account has been compromised.
Second step is to try get Webmail to deactivate that account.
Third step is to get a gmail account with two factor authentication switched on.
