Hi all..
http://www.cassimshoes.co.za

Will someone explain to me how come this opens up with saix or dial-up but not with IS?

I've got an IS account with Openweb... and neither browsing nor ftp works with IS for this particular website.
Is this an issue with the hosts.. or IS?

Please help asap.
Thanks :)

Hi,

Using IS DSL. No issues opening this site.

So how come some can open and some cannot?
I've tried it on Firefox and Explorer.

Any ideas?

Not sure. Just tried again, can access and ping.

HTML:
C:\>ping www.cassimshoes.co.za

Pinging www.cassimshoes.co.za [196.211.124.218] with 32 bytes of data:

    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:

Trace shows that it's hosted locally at "PDDC" on a shared linux server. Have you logged a call with Openweb?

Weird maybe its an internal problem then, maybe a mis configured firewall?

Thanks guys... I will log a call with OpenWeb.
Grrrr ... just so frustrating.

Could you do a trace so we could see where the issue possibly is?

Breaks down at 2 for me.

If you guys think this is a server issue what should I tell the hosts to do?
Allow access on the firewall?

Am a bit rusty, but this looks like a routing issue. Suspect that the public subnet which you form a part of is not being routed/advertised correctly. You will not be able to log a call with IS directly. Just supply Openweb with all this info and they should be able to get it resolved with the IS engineers.
