Website steals identities

New York's attorney general charged Thursday that Tagged.com stole the identities of more than 60 million internet users worldwide - by sending e-mails that raided their private accounts.

lol, yah i saw this happen but wasn't fooled by it. It reminded me of the invitation spam facebook use to give after their apps were put in.

I am on tagged but I never got this either... because the email account I used for sign up was a temporary one :D

Let me understand this is normal computer terms (none of this 'breaking into a house' stuff)

People signed into tagged, provided email details and passwords to those email accounts, then tagged got the address book of said email address and spammed everyone on it?

Yes 4 sure these buggers can spam... luckily for me too its was only a temporary email address.
