Anyone notice you can connect Websquad fibre and connection is operational on IPv6, but no traffic on IPv4? It does make a successful PPPOE connection and I do get an IPv4 address though

Am I testing wrong?

No problems this side. If you’re getting an IP, you should be good. Please open a ticket if you’re having issues

I logged on with a pfsense router and everything is fine except I am back on 200mbps fiber which is what my Afrihost package was before I migrated to 100mbps websquad (Openserve)

Wierd.

I'll monitor and log a ticket if required.

Good to hear that. You got the v6 up on the PFSense as well?

Line migrations with Openserve are processed by them at the previous speed (we can’t set the speed on the migration order). Once the line is in our “ownership”, we then place a separate regrade order (which can take a short while to execute). You should be on the right speed in no time. For now, enjoy the extra speed ;)

I got ipv6 up and running including one additional subnet, so that is all fine. I'm still having a problem on the Dlink router though.

Could anyone with the DIR-825 telnet into it and paste the result of their. "ip route show". Need to confirm if I'm not missing a route. Here is mine

$ ip route
default dev ppp0 proto static scope link metric 50
160.119.230.1 dev ppp0 proto kernel scope link src 10.250.2.248
192.168.0.0/24 dev br0 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.0.1
224.0.0.251 dev br0 proto static scope link
224.0.0.252 dev br0 proto static scope link

10.250.2.248

10.250.2.x - That’s an IP that’s assigned when your password is incorrect. Just make sure your credentials are correct or that the DLink isn’t doing something funny when you enter them.

Thanks for the reply. I tripple checked that what I typed was correct. But after I copied and pasted the credentials into the gui, it connected. So everything is sorted now, but really puzzling.

As side note... You might want to check this one out..... If this was an incorrect username or password, it still showed up successful in my router. Also I was able to access IPV6 capable sites without a problem, just not IPV4.

Regards
