Thanks - I see on canonrumor the 7D is rumored to be 1.6x
I get to keep the lensesBesides, if you don't have money for a photographer, you don't have money - girlfriend is feeling bad for them cause they're going to their wedding, then going straight home again - no honeymoon - no special night away from home, etc.
It would be mine if it had a higher frame rate. Dual card slots would be nice too. And apparently faster AF?My next camera will be the 5D MK II, but that's still a long way away![]()
Not full frame? Interesting in a shoot yourself in the foot sort of way.
Now more to consider when I ask myself . . do I want what may be the last(?) of the FF cameras (5Dmk2) or the 1.3 crop 1DMk3 . . .

I was told that they charge R1500 per 100 photos.
Go for it then. Personally I'd go for this - http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-EF-24-70mm-f-2.8-L-USM-Lens-Review.aspx - or (if you're resigning yourself to crops for the foreseeable future) this http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-EF-S-17-55mm-f-2.8-IS-USM-Lens-Review.aspx

Printed photos?
Any photographers that will come and shoot a few photos on my wedding day, but I don't want any printed photos, just the DVD with all the photos on it.
Not sure hey.
That is what we are looking for when we get married next year. We would like to print our own choice of photos. So would just like the set of photos in full quality on a DVD and print and enlarge them later on.
Photographer can still keep the copies if he wants to use it in his portfolio.
Will pay a reasonable price for a service like that.
No prints but all photos in full quality on DVD.
That's very kind of you! Remember, the photographer retains intellectual and artistic rights to the photograph, unless he or she sells those rights to you. Paying for the photographer's services does not imply that you are paying for the copyright on the photos.Photographer can still keep the copies if he wants to use it in his portfolio.
I'd love to know what you consider reasonable...Will pay a reasonable price for a service like that.
