Johannesburg - Two hijackers were killed during an attempted hijacking in Kempton Park, Johannesburg police said on Wednesday.

Captain Jethro Mtshali said four men attempted to hijack a woman outside her home on Tuesday night.

As the woman got out of her Toyota Venture to open the gate to her house, the men fired shots at her. The woman ran for cover and her husband then returned fire. Two of the men jumped into their vehicle and fled leaving the other two hijackers behind.

Security guards cornered the two hijackers on foot. There was an exchange of fire and one of the hijackers shot himself in the head.

"He died at the scene and the other one was arrested. One of the other hijackers that fled in the car was found dead from bullet wounds on Wednesday morning," Mtshali said.

Police are investigating cases of attempted murder and attempted hijacking.

maybe the same reason why the prince stabbed himself in the neck and jumped off the balcony, who cares, at least he did it right!
