Does anybody know of a nice quite place with chalets or something alike to go to for a long weekend, just to get away from everything... Anything within, lets say, 100km of Cape Town??
Need a bit of a break...

A break from being a student? Not sure that counts.

Look at Arniston or Gansbaai. I bit further than 100kms but within a couple hours drive.

Actually, the words "SUCH IS LIFE" is sorta more close to the truth - if he can't get used to it now... he never will.

What I don't get is why students complain about not having any time or having to study so much or whatever.

Real work life doesn't really change, it actually get much more tougher to balance social. I'll give my left nut to go back to school. Studying is much better than having to work.

Look at it this way.

If you don't study you get bad marks
If you don't work your car gets repo'ed, you lose your house, you can't eat....

Which is more scarier?

Bah

I am not complaining.... I am not studying anymore, doing my Masters, no dead-lines, nothing... But being stuck in the same office for most of the day is getting tiresome, so just want to get away, clear my head.
