Seems u can hardly make calls on Virgin during the weekend...some calls go through eventually after many attempts...very frustating....is it that the FREE weekend calls are having a toll on CellC tower capacity??

Must be. Tried phoning the CellC call center and got "network busy" over the weekend. It did go through on the second try though. Not that it helped very much, rather unhelpful

We are aware of the congestion during weekends and this is being attended to. We can't really conclude that it is the Cell C weekend calls as stated above. I will advise once i get feedback,

I don't think the ETs are lining up for credit on this, so I think the CellC stunt is a likely cause.ndlovu_f said:

If it happens next weekend, I'm gone. Whats the point of being on a network if you have to buy a prepaid sim on another network just to be able to get calls on weekends?
