Is there a limit to how much fat a body can store in a day?

For example - say that 7000calorie consumption is = to 1kg,

If a person manages to consume 35000 calories in 1 day, would they gain 5kgs? Or does the body have a limiter when weight gain stops at some point

I dont think there is a limit, The body will absorb as much as it can, then start telling you if you shove anymore food down I will send it back up.

I'm struggling to gain weight at the moment, I was two months in hospital and did not eat. So now the challenge is to gain it back again.

I would imagine that your liver, gall bladder etc have a limit to how much they can process and your body will most likely try and expel the food if its too much. You can see it when people/animals that have been starved for whatever reason eat too much in one go and they become sick.

Are you planning to compete in a fat eating contest?

Why do you want to gain fat? Build muscle. Get fit. Fat isn't sexy...never was and never will be.

Goodness me... that does not look appetizing.

Yes, I am currently on shakes now to gain weight, my dietician prescribed it for me.

I hope your dietician also referred you to a good personal trainer. This is the perfect opportunity to build muscle mass and not body fat, which just drinking shakes will do. (the fat part ).

If you ate 35000 calories in a day you'd fall the **** over. You are limited by how much your digestive system can handle at a time.
