Weight Loss Thread 2014

A question I haven't found an answer to anywhere else, so I'll try here. Does anyone know where you can buy yoghurt that isn't low fat and sweetened? I'm happy to eat some fruit floating around in yoghurt, but really want to avoid sweetened.

I had a reasonable weekend - I ate more than I usually would if home alone over a weekend, but concentrated on eating meat, eggs, cheese and so on rather than cereal and bread. I was 141kg on Thursday morning, and just under 138 this morning. Nice to know I'm going in the right direction. If I can loose nearly a kilo a day I'll be done here in a few months...

Yeah, I know, a significant part of that is likely to be due to normal fluctuations. And I don't really need to lose >60kg, I'd be quite happy to get rid of 30kg.

Woolworths has double cream Greek style yoghurt. Not sure of the sweetener situation.

Great, thanks for that. Now if only they'd open a Woolworths closer than 60km away :-)

you can also check carb content on any Greek yoghurt, as far as I can remember they're all pretty reasonable so long as it's the double cream

The no sleeping is back for some reason. Nothing in the eating plan has changed and if anything, I'm working out more than I was in the beginning yet I can only fade away at like 3am or 4am. I wake up at about 8am. It's not that I feel like I'm lacking sleep, just wondering why it's back.

That is weird, I find that I sleep better than ever since I moved properly into ketosis.

I'm now in week 3 of HFLC and I can feel some of my clothes are feeling a bit looser. I don't have a scale, so will probably only be weighing myself once I'm back in SA(in 3 months)

Had a skiing trip this weekend (and got engaged!!!!!), so went a bit off diet. Had 2 beers this weekend, and can definitely feel the effect. Have been feeling quite 'off' since yesterday, but I'm in full-on banting mode again this week

Congratulations on the engagement!

I actually found double cream greek at PnP yesterday. It was literally hidden behind a wall of non-fat bull**** though.

I have been finding it quite often at my local spar, also end up having to move the others around to find it though.

Congrats on the engagement

Nothing better then looser fitting clothing... or the scale moving in the right direction....or getting engaged
