Weight Loss Thread 2014

Ah man...

Have a Carb hangover this morning.

Had a massive braai last night and I sampled everything. Garlic bread, rice salad, Simba snacks and blueberry pie.

First time in months I had any of those. Back in the saddle this morning again with eggs and a green salad.

I can't say no to garlic bread !

I have been struggling with sugar cravings lately. Trying not to overdo the 85% Lindt but every night I have an urge to eat some. Have been eating a few teaspoons of macadamia nut butter just to satisfy my craving.

So wierd as this is week 15

For the noobs. How to you save the stream.
Link please.

I use CHROME browser, to which I added an extension/plugin called Video Downloader Professional. Whenever you go to a site with imbedded video (youtube included), the app will glow to tell you it can rip the video to your drive...

Epic diet failure for the last two weeks.

It has been a carbohydrate avalanche.

Hope it's out of my system now.

On the plus side, man it was good having beer again. :D

Have you tried Castle lite? Says 2g of carbs per 340ml on the label.

It's been months since I have been on here but I think I was at say week 8 of LCHF/Ketosis back then. Now well in to month 6 and still loving it. I have lost 19kg on it and 26kg for the year! Not much exercise, just squash a couple times a week.

I still have work to do and plan on hitting the gym but in order to keep the momentum going now that I have a lot less weight to lose, I want to do more. Has anyone tried intermittent fasting? Seems perfectly suited to someone who is Keto-adapted...

Initially i was not sold by LCHF, tried it about two months ago,and i must say it really worked wonderes,

Begining October = 109kg
Now end November = 103 kg

Blood pressure even dropped
Slow pace but there is change :)

Minimum of 3 X 10km runs a week,

June 85kg
End of November 75kg

Regular gymming
Very little bread and no pasta
Much less sugary drinks
