Weight Loss Thread 2014

Just get irritated when ketosis hits, cos i like my sleep, i do have a couple of drinks on an odd weekend though

Any of you know of a good replacement for eggs?

I've read up on some Tofu but it looks like it takes a lot more effort to cook up a Tofu meal (for breakfast).

I get nauseous when I see that spring like thing and black dot in some of the eggs that I have opened. That image has been burned into my head and I gag at the thought of eggs at times. :cry:

You mean this? I've never seen one.
Most commercial eggs are unfertilized hence no real embryo.

Though I would update, From November 2012 - October 2013 I gained 14kgs. No idea how. 67kgs -> 81.4Kgs

Started back down the old trodden path and down to 76.4

Wrong dates Should have been November 2013 -> October 2014 - Hows your weight loss mister? You also went through a rough patch if I recall.

OK, I also joined the Banting craze as I felt left out. Did drop a few kg's but seemed to reach a plateau. Started a blog to keep track of what I am doing, checking my health. Also found a few studies pre Tim Noakes where they compared the Low-fat diets with Low-carb diets. So far all of them found the low-carb diets to be better for short term weight loss. People's lipid levels were also monitored and normally Cholestrol levels drop on both diets. Low-carb seem to be winning when it comes to the drop in Trigyceride levels in the increase in HDL (the good stuff). As I get time I am keeping score :P

I'm back to being an absolute pig - I met somebody who unfortunately likes me with some padding. Oh well.... :love:

Each to his own.

I personally never liked Red Bull or anything like that. My body just doesn't seem to agree with it. Never get the high it is suppose to give you. I actually felt very tired soon after I consumed a can.

With me it's the same. If I drink energy drinks like Red Bull, Monster and Play it makes me tired. Also don't get the energy boost. Seems with me it is the same with the Bulletproof coffee, I don't get any extra energy at all.

How are you making your Bulletproof Coffee?
