My body ain't keen to head for 75.

I think I am looking a bit skeletal as is.

Depends whether you have high/low blood pressure. But what many people do not realise, is that sugar has the same effect on your blood pressure as salt... so... if you have blood pressure issues, you gots to cut the sugs too

the much maligned salt, shame

the scientific evidence linking salt to hypertension falls into the same ballpark as everything we've been taught about nutrition (fat is bad for you etc.). Whilst there appears to be evidence in the fact that salt reduction may influence blood pressure in hypertensive patients, in normotensive patients there is no significant impact, issues such as kidney damage and renin secretion all have an impact as do other nutritional elements. Anyway, it's a huge topic all on its own.

you've probably hit your "set-point" where the body is now self regulating, now you need to decide how much effort you want to put in to either losing more fat (if you've got more to lose, what's your BF%?) or whether you want to start building up, increasing lean muscle mass will assist in burning off any further unneeded fat.

So I was told that I should fast for 30 days before attempting to wear the dress I'm wearing :mad:

No idea what my BF is, but visually, the only untoward thing is a small amount of excess belly fat.

Next step is a general intro to exercise, and the long road to getting fit again.

Forumite Chicken Boo has provided me with reams of information (which is greatly appreciated), and I've just been trying to deal with the damned fatigue before I dive in. The fatigue, I am beginning to realize, is, as previously suggested, as a result of me not eating enough. I am now making sure I get enough in.

Lol thanks GooGoo

Ok i'm not going to get any work done today. I'm 41 pages into the Revolution. I should have just stayed home. :o

Oh my word excellent idea :D
Work is super boring.... I must remember to bring my e-version tomorrow :D

Made the bread out of the Real Meal Revolution, and it is goooooood :D Just had one slice last night (plain) and it tastes way way better than what I expected (and it can be toasted). The loaf feels pretty heavy compared the normal bread, so it should be quite filling, will see how it goes today. And with that, I'll be on track for around 20g carbs today :D

Just made this and I love it! The batter looked dry as hell, the bread itself looked.. lumpy - down to my lack of prowess at baking I suppose - and the finished product sliced didn't look great, but I tried a slice now (straight from the oven) with some butter on top and I'm impressed... Just need a better baking tin, mine is a bit long so I get quite short slices. Will also make sure I even out the edges to match the centre next time as the loaf tapers a bit too much.

How many times per month do you "cheat" on or stray away from your diet and/or exercise program?

Do you think it makes a massive difference if you have a burger with chips once or twice a month?
