Weight Loss Thread 2014

In 2011 and the start of 2012, I was 116kg. I'd gone up from 110kg because I quit cigarettes.

I cut out bread/pitas at home, and by the end of the year I was 108kg. I then did some consistent exercise in late Jan/February 2013, and got down to 103kg. Between March and November 2013, I went back up to 105kg.

By the end of Xmas 2013, I was back up to 108kg. From New Year, I cut out all sugar from coffee, and cut back on sweets/chocolates. I went back down to 105kg.

Started the Noakes/Paleo diet on Tuesday 4 February. I've been very strict.

As of today, I am down to 99.8kg. :) Lowest I've been since 2006! :D

Fair enough I guess.

May I ask what that limit is...because it sounds disgustingly low.
It is supposed to be 1900 calories. Hardly ate today as I had terrible news at work today so not in the mood to eat.

Wrong I know

I am, low carb and be under my daily calorie limit. Can't complain it is working so far.

dude, the benefit of LCHF is that it's not calorie restrictive, you don't have to limit your calories at all and you'll still lose weight

Thanks! I can understand, maybe you could work at limiting it to once a week? Small steps...

Otherwise seems you're doing well.

Same. The loaf in the book looks like a proper loaf of brown bread, mine looks like a sunburnt, dense madeira cake.

Yours looked pretty much identical to mine (you did post a pic, right?).

It's nice enough to eat, and whether my sandwich is this size or that is all the same to me.

Was weird eating 'bread', it's been a while.
