Weight Loss Thread 2014

I bought Crepe Coconut Oil from Vineyard Deli today as well, made a cup of coffee with a teaspoon of Coconut Oil, and teaspoon of Woolies full cream cream.
The coconut oil seems to float on top...?

blend, you need to blend it

 what is this magic!!!!

How many eggs do you have daily? And how does it affect the jam in your veins?

2 to 3 eggs a day, by jam I'm assuming you mean cholesterol and that's a myth, eating healthy fats improves your cholesterol (but cholesterol is another huge issue all by itself)

He complained about the amount of food I gave him. So I decided to skip the egg and sausage that was made for breakfast, Instead I added the protein to the flapjacks, it is the same amount of powder you would use in a breakfast smoothie. He has not complained yet. Yes we have a relationship where he will tell me it is not enough or to much. I do not take offence... he knows I'm not a very good cook and I take advice :o

yes but you're using low fat yoghurt which is loaded with sugar

anything low-fat/no-fat has been loaded with sugar to counter how crap it tastes without fat, you need to use full fat or double fat yoghurt

Mr Mila's is normal...mine is not so normal. I have reduced it by 2 points. Was 7.5 is now 5.5.
I know about the cholesterol myth thing. But has been advised to not eat more than one egg a day. And since I'm not the most creative cook he gets the same as me. Egg whites :D

So you reckon I can give him boiled eggs with his flapjacks?

Updated Fig, updates will be done once a week on a monday, please PM me stats. Added info to front page

boiled, fried, scrambled, poached, any way you want

so I've just checked Shoprite, Fruit and Veg and Woolies and all are charging about R14.99 an Avo, looks like they're imported from Spain

If there's anyone here from CT's northern suburbs, the Vineyard Deli in Kenridge has the best Avo's I've come across. (I'm a bit of an Avo fanatic, but my throat swells up a bit if they're not ripe enough)
Their avos are MUCH better than even Woolies' Avo's, and they also have fresh veggies etc at good prices (slightly cheaper than Woolies I'd say)

Is the double fat ok to eat? Had a look at Woolworths the other day and the carb content still seemed quite high. Fat's adequate, though.
