Weight Loss Thread 2014

Thanks :)

Sodium can be gained from salt right?

Yes, but please use a real salt. Refined tablesalt is toxic - you want the full complement of minerals along with that sodium chloride.

My order of preference: pink himalayan salt, grey sea salt, white sea salt.

Guys, I just ate dinner (2 x boiled eggs, pork chop, brocolli and caulifower) I wanted to try the coffee with cream thing, however, I added the cream and the coffee and than the boiling water, its awful, I think the hot water did something to the cream?

:erm: What coffee?

If I'm making normal coffee, I do it in a French press. Brew the coffee, pour, add cream.

I've tried it as well. But I added the cream (another time butter) after finishing the coffee making process.

Was also horrible for me and haven't tried it again. Wife tasted the exact same batches and said it was nice.

Guess this bulletproof stuff is not for everyone.

/nibbles on fatty biltong and some almonds

Wait, are you guys trying coffee with cream, or BPC? BPC is made with butter and coconut oil/McT. And by the way, it should be blended, or it will separate and you won't enjoy it at all.

Oh, and it depends on taste. I like BPC with MCT Oil, not a fan when made with coconut oil

I've tried both.

Once just added cream like I would milk.

Other time added just the butter and blended it with a stick blender.

Guys. My wife is having a hard time converting to Banting. She does the cooking and not adding enough fat.
Can't I just have knobs of butter with my meals to increase the fat content?

Edit/ darn autocorrect

Yes. I cut it like slices of cheese and eat it :)

Didn't like either? I haven't tried plain butter blended in by itself.
