So, I've been playing around with my neotel prime modem at work the last two days. It works very nicely. Connection is sitting stable at 2.4 and a rssi of about -49 which is the best i've ever seen
Anyways. So heres the funny thing. Everytime I have connected to the internet my local area connection stays active but I immediately stop receiving packets from the network. Quite frustrating and not that good if youre trying to work on the network.
We have a dhcp server that provides ip's and the ip is correct. Just so freaking weird.
The moment I disconnect the modem the network connection starts receiving packets again and everything is hunky dory. Weird.
Anybody else have similiar problems or any recommendations? All I can find on the net is just ppl and their cable modems having problems but nothing as unique as this one.
