Weird DSTV Xtraview problem.

Every Monday without fail, sometime During Greys the Xtraview stops working.
It will then come back on at varying times - sometimes within an hour and sometimes only the next day.
Today was a tad annoying because I had paused the PVR and without fail the xtraview went off, but then unpaused the PVR and it also failed, just got stuck after about 15 minutes and had to reboot to get it working again.

The PVR started working again but not the Xtraview.

Any ideas - I hate, but really hate calling the call centre, I'd rather have root canal or even replace wiring if it could be that.

When I had mine and it did that, I would either go into Advanced Options > Xtraview setup and change the RF Out back to RF In (dunno why it changed on it's own, but it did).

The other problem is that long life bulbs (in the study where the Xtraview decoder was) can interfere with the IR so I would block the light path to the decoder.

I must check that RF issue, to see if that changes, thanks for that tidbit, will see if it is related to that.
