help please....
posted this in the android section but no help.
a week ago i bought an unbranded generic SE Xperia mini pro. I already have a nexus one so just got this as a smaller 2nd phone.
for the first two days everything was great. i entered my google apps details into phone, and was able to sync calender, gmail, and chat away on gtalk.... and of course facebook and browse.
then suddenly and very randomly.... two days later i could not connect to any google product. i could still facebook and browse, but if i tried to gtalk etc it just came up with "could not connect to server will try later"
tried for a day or two to fix, trying different apns etc... nothing. then i factory reset and entered my regular gmail account... and it worked (so i thought there must be some issue between xperia mini and google apps)
then suddenly... two days later my gmail login wasnt working either. (maybe i have the 48hour mtn bug? lol )
no matter what i tried, including factory resets i could not get regular gmail account to work either.
so i loaded a vodacom sim... and it worked.. and it also works on google apps login.
so put back mtn sim and NOTHING. cant get onto google servers. can surf and facebook fine, but no friggen google.
any ideas? what is correct apn i should be using?
